This role falls under our Five Guys umbrella. As our Five Guys team continues to grow, we’re in search of a Assistant Restaurant Manager. In this role, you work closely with the Outlet Manager, Supervisors and Crew Members to ensure that store is running at the highest possible level. Directs the daily operations of the restaurant in the absence of the restaurant General Manager, ensuring compliance with the company, local municipality and brand standards in all areas of operation.

Responsibilities

 

  • Leads Crew Members and directs all daily operations of the restaurant in the absence of the Outlet Manager including supervising the training employees, opening and closing the store, the safekeeping of all cash and takings, ensuring all food preparation is complete, managing employee breaks and shift changes.
  • Motivates and coaches Crew Members and Supervisors and provides regular feedback.
  • Assists Outlet Manager in daily operations with tasks including scheduling, ordering, daily cleaning tasks and team development
  • Ensures that the Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed as well as all local municipality food safety requirements are followed.
  • Supports all employees in completing their tasks
  • Maintains fast, accurate service, ensures an excellent customer experience, and ensure that all products are consistent with the brand standards
  • Excels in performing all Crew Member and Supervisor tasks
  • Carry out any other reasonable task as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

•College Level or a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management

•Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience food and beverage industry and reporting in a fast paced and dynamic environment
