As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we’re in search of a Manager - Communications. In this role you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing internal communication initiatives that engage, inform, and inspire employees across Shamal. This role requires fluency in English and Arabic and a deep understanding of local culture and corporate communication best practices. The incumbent will play a key role in driving employee engagement, supporting leadership messaging, and aligning internal narratives with Shamal’s strategic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies, plans, and campaigns aligned with Shamal’s goals and values.
  • Create compelling bilingual (English and Arabic) content for internal and external channels: emails, newsletters, intranet, digital signage, presentations, and videos.
  • Partner with HR and business units to support employee engagement initiatives, change management, and cultural programs.
  • Support leadership with drafting speeches, talking points, and messaging for internal meetings, townhalls, and key announcements.
  • Manage internal communication calendar and ensure timely, consistent, and relevant messaging across the organization.
  • Lead the development and implementation of employee feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, focus groups) and use insights to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality internal content.
  • Monitor and report on communication metrics and employee engagement levels.
  • Support the business Unit with other projects as reasonably requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications or corporate communications, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Proven experience in managing corporate communication tools and technologies.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills in both languages.
  • Culturally aware with an understanding of local sensitivities and workplace dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
