This role falls under our Asset Management and we are seeking a Business Development  Leader to drive portfolio-wide revenue growth and commercial performance across the Asset Management businesses by leading business development, partnerships, and demand generation initiatives. The role translates portfolio strategy into executable growth plans across B2C channels, accelerates customer acquisition, conversion, and yield, and builds scalable commercial frameworks and partnerships

Responsibilities

1) Portfolio Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute a portfolio-wide business development strategy covering:
  • Direct-to-consumer acquisition and conversion growth
  • New markets
  • Translate strategy into annual/quarterly growth plans with clear targets by asset, channel, and product line.
  • Build a structured growth governance cadence (pipeline reviews, performance dashboards, monthly commercial reviews with each business).

2) B2C Commercial Growth (Numbers, Conversion, Yield)

  • Drive B2C growth through coordinated initiatives with Marketing and Operations:
  • Channel mix and campaign planning (digital, affiliates, tourism platforms, influencers where appropriate)
  • Conversion improvement across booking journeys, upsell/add-on strategy, retention/loyalty concepts
  • Packaging/pricing recommendations in partnership with Asset Management and each business lead (yield and utilization focus)
  • Own the portfolio’s demand generation roadmap: where to find the next customers and how to convert them efficiently.
  • Identify customer segments and experience “moments” to win (tourists, residents, enthusiasts, learners, premium/VIP).

3) New Products & Services Development

  • Establish a repeatable process to discover, test, and launch new products/services:
  • Market scans, competitor benchmarking, customer insights, and trend tracking
  • Concept creation, feasibility assessments, and operational impact evaluation
  • Propose business cases (revenue model, capex/opex, staffing, safety/regulatory implications, payback)
  • Pilot design, launch plans, and post-launch performance tracking
  • Deliver a rolling 12–24 month product pipeline for each asset and for cross-asset offerings.
  • Ensure product innovation supports both B2C (new experiences, memberships, premium packages) and B2B (corporate programs, private buyouts, brand integrations).

4) Cross-Portfolio Packaging & Ecosystem Monetization

  • Design and execute cross-portfolio packages (where commercially and operationally viable), e.g.:
  • Corporate multi-activity days / leadership programs
  • Premium/VIP itineraries for high-value customers
  • Identify joint revenue opportunities with hotels, attractions, airlines, cruise operators, and tourism platforms.

5) Data-Driven Commercial Management

  • Build portfolio dashboards and KPIs to track:
  • Leads, pipeline value, conversion rates 
  • Utilization / capacity fill and yield metrics
  • CAC/ROAS (with Marketing), partner productivity, churn/retention where applicable
  • Profitability by channel/product and contribution margin
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and ensure commercial decisions are backed by data and clear assumptions.

6) Stakeholder Leadership & Internal Alignment

  • Act as the portfolio BD leader and connector across assets—ensuring:
  • Clear growth priorities
  • Fast decision-making and structured escalation
  • Consistent commercial standards, partner governance, and brand alignment
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure growth plans are deliverable without compromising safety, service quality, or customer experience.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management on budgets, targets, and investment cases; with Legal on contracts and compliance; with Procurement on commercial vendor deals.

Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications and Professional Certifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, commercial strategy, partnerships, or growth roles.
  • Proven experience across B2C models, ideally within leisure, tourism, entertainment, hospitality, sports, or experience-led businesses.
