As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we’re in search of an Associate - Leasing. In this role, you will support the leasing team in managing commercial/residential property portfolios, coordinating lease transactions, maintaining tenant relationships, and ensuring smooth operational execution of leasing activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise direct the daily activities of the appointed property manager and other agencies appointed by leasing.
  • Support and respond to any queries, market vacant spaces and liaise with real estate agencies to ensure occupancy.
  • Oversee asset list performance and condition with the property management and facility management.
  • Ensure full compliance of leasing procedures to local laws and shamal legal governance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive reporting system for all leasing achieved and to ensure that frequent and accurate reports are prepared.
  • Visit and Inspect the properties on a quarterly basis to monitor property management companies service delivery and ensure assets are kept in good condition.
  • Investigate and resolve property related complaints and issues raised from the leasing portfolio.
  • Assess facility management costs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the timely rent collection and reduction of ageing amounts.
  • Identify, propose and execute process improvement initiatives to ensure optimal process flow.
  • Liaise with local authorities associated with everyday operations.
  • Initiate legal proceedings for defaulting tenants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with focus on property management and at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
