Senior Manager - Commercial Asset Management

As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we’re in search of a Senior Manager – Commercial Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the value and performance of Shamal Holding’s hospitality asset portfolio. The role involves strategic oversight of hotel operators, performance monitoring, capital planning, and ensuring that the assets meet financial and operational targets. The role will also support new acquisitions, expansions and developments by providing asset-level insights and lead execution of projects.

Asset Performance & Strategy

• Lead the development and execution of asset strategies to enhance asset value and returns.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs of the hospitality portfolio.
• Analyse monthly and quarterly performance reports from hotel operators and provide insights to leadership.
• Benchmark performance against market data and competitive set.

Operator Management

• Act as the key liaison between Shamal and hotel operators, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Review annual budgets, business plans, marketing plans, and capital expenditure plans.
• Ensure compliance with management agreements, brand standards, and operating covenants.

Financial & Investment Analysis

• Perform financial modelling, scenario analysis, and valuation of existing and potential assets.
• Assist in the underwriting of new hospitality investments and developments.
• Work closely with finance and investment teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate and assess annual budgets and projections.

Capital Planning & Project Oversight

• Oversee capital expenditure projects and renovations to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Support in repositioning or rebranding strategies to improve asset performance.

Project Management and Committee approvals

• Oversee all capital expenditure projects for approval.
• Upon approval, manage their completion to ensure adherence to the allocated budget.

Reporting & Governance

• Prepare and present asset performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as hospitality, strategy, finance, or business administration is required.
• Certification in hospitality analytics, real estate or asset management.
• 8–10 years of experience in hospitality, F&B, asset management, hotel consulting, investment, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, P&L analysis, contract negotiation, and operator management.
