As Shamal Holding continues to grow, we’re in search of a Manager – Commercial Asset Management. The role supports execution of asset management activities across the F&B and hospitality portfolio through performance monitoring, financial analysis, business planning support, stakeholder engagement and implementation of approved initiatives.

 

You will also support day-to-day asset management activities, monitoring and analysing BU and operator performance against agreed targets, tracking adherence to approved growth plans and coordinating capex and budget review processes, in addition to providing support on special projects such as special studies, market research and evaluation of new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Supports improvement of F&B and hospitality portfolio performance through monitoring, analysis and follow-through of agreed actions, and coordinates routine performance review meetings with hotel and F&B management teams.
  • Supports delivery of approved growth plans and expansion initiatives, coordinating review of sites, leases and business plans and providing recommendations.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations to support sales, pricing and revenue optimisation decisions and measurable performance improvement against business plans.
  • Investment and operating decisions are supported by robust benchmarking, financial analysis and current market intelligence for each hotel and market.
  • Senior management receives accurate, timely monthly, quarterly and year-end performance reporting.
  • Supports review, monitoring and tracking of operating budgets, capital budgets and marketing plans against approved targets.
  • Supports cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives through improved asset management and hospitality systems, processes and practices.
  • Supports development of short- and long-term strategic plans for hotel assets and self-owned businesses through market analysis, performance insights and business case preparation.
  • Facilitates operating performance reviews and follows up agreed actions with business unit leadership teams on operating performance, annual business plans and longer-term strategy.
  • Identifies value enhancement opportunities and develops supporting business cases for review and approval, tracking return on investment of approved projects.
  • Special projects, market research and presentations are completed to agreed quality and deadlines.
  • Outlet-level sales, same-store sales growth, covers, average check and restaurant profitability are monitored and analysed against agreed targets.
  • Menu engineering, cost of sales, labour productivity and store benchmarking reviews are completed to identify commercial opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Evaluation of new sites, leases, concepts and new store business cases is supported with commercial and financial assessment.
  • Performance dashboards and portfolio reporting are developed and maintained for outlet-level and business reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as F&B, Hospitality and business administration is required.
  • Certification in F&B, hospitality analytics or asset management.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience related with F&B operations, leasing and asset management roles.
