This role comes under our Skydive Dubai umbrella and we are is responsible for the below

1.Safety department-Senior Safety Officer for AOC/LSA/PAO:

The primary objective of the Senior Safety Officer at Skydive Dubai is to oversee and enforce all safety protocols related to skydiving, Flying, LSA activities ensuring compliance with national and international aviation regulations and internal standards. This role exists to minimize risk through continuous monitoring, incident prevention, staff training, and equipment inspections checks—ultimately safeguarding participants and personnel while maintaining Skydive Dubai’s reputation as a world-leading skydiving center.

2-Aerodrome-Aerodrome Deputy Manager:

The objective of the Aerodrome Deputy Manager position is to support the Aerodrome Manager in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the airport by managing daily airside and landside activities, coordinating runway and taxiway inspections, overseeing maintenance and contractor works, ensuring compliance with GCAA regulations, and assisting in emergency planning, incident response, and operational readiness for airport growth and development, and acting as aerodrome manager by contacting the vendors, maintenance companies, providing solutions to 3rd parties and making decisions whenever the manager is unavailable.

3-Rescue and Fire Fighting Service (RFFS):

The objective of the Rescue and Fire Fighting Service (RFFS) Supervisor position is to ensure the continuous operational readiness and effectiveness of the airports fire and rescue services across all our aerodromes by supervising daily shift operations, leading emergency response during aircraft and structural incidents, enforcing compliance with GCAA regulations, coordinating training and competency of RFFS personnel, and maintaining equipment, vehicles, and facilities to required standards to protect life, property, and ensure aerodrome certification requirements are met.

4-PSMP (PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES MANAMEGEMNT PROGRAMME)

The objective of the PSMP DER (designated Employee Representative) Deputy position is to support the implementation and oversight of aviation security measures by assisting in the prevention of use or abuse any substance that can lower the margin of safe operations, effect the cognitive ability of SDD staff to perform the work assigned to them, interact with other people, and assuring compliance by conducting testing sessions for various reasons and even randomly.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all records of safety department are maintained, updated and monitored.

• Performing, Handling, Leading internal and external Audits aimed to the SMS department

• Ensuring safety management system compliance and standardization through updating, circulating it according to the GCAA standards.

• Reviewing and updating safety regulation, policy and documentation and making recommendations, decisions, alerts as needed.

• Enhance the safety culture in all our facilities through communications, trainings, and periodically safety meeting.

• Maintain awareness of active and developing situations and analyze them to address any potential hazard and ensure safe operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Preforming internal drug and alcohol test randomly, Coordinating and handling external tests and investigating any positive results. Where needed a recommendation will be issued depends on the investigation results and keep a cycle of monitoring to analyze the trends of abusing and using.

• Handling, Coordinating, Training and assure the readiness of our Rescue and Fire Fighting and Aerodrome teams across all our locations.

• Acting as the aerodrome manager whenever he is not available and making decisions based on rules and regulations, speaking and agreeing with external vendors and third-party maintenance companies.

• Performing Aerodrome Audit as well as leading and handling and managing external Audits aimed on this department in addition to PSMP and RFFS departments

• Performing, Handling, Processing and managing PAO Audits across all our drop zones

• Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and addressing them before they develop to an accident/incident across all departments (Aerodrome, RFFS, PAO, LSA)

• Handling the PAO, and LSA Safety occurrence reports and drawing conclusions from them to act accordingly.

• Coordinating and holding a Safety action group periodically.

• Creating and enhancing safety promotion program for the PAO organization

• Deputizing the Aerodrome manager, PSMP and RFFS Postholder with all his duties and responsibilities.

• Handle any injury by administrating First Aid until the authority arrives.

• Conduct fire evacuation drills to enhance the response time of our staff in addition to hold sessions of Human factor and Safety management System Trainings for everyone as required.

• Team Leader and supervisor of the First responder team in case of any emergency.

Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications And Professional Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in a General safety and Fire Prevention.

• ISO 45001:2018 lead auditor

• Managerial Drug and Alcohol Recognition and Awareness Training

• Highfield Level 3 International Award in Emergency First Aid and Use of AED with CPR for all Ages

• Train the Trainers

• Low Category Aerodrome Fire Fighter

Experience

Close to 7 years in aviation as Safety and Quality, with the last 4 were all in the supervisory Level
